ClipNova monitors your system clipboard to provide its core history functionality. This includes:

Retention: You control how long data is kept. You can configure retention limits (based on count) in Settings. You can also manually clear specific items or wipe the entire history at any time.
ClipNova offers optional cloud synchronization via WebDAV, allowing you to backup and restore your clipboard data through third-party cloud storage services (such as坚果云, Box.com, or self-hosted WebDAV servers).

ClipNova Helper is an optional companion app that assists with system-level paste execution through macOS Accessibility APIs. It runs locally on your Mac and does not upload clipboard data to our servers.

ClipNova is a standalone application and does not integrate with third-party analytics SDKs, advertising networks, or user tracking services.
The application may open your default email client if you choose to send feedback, but no data is sent automatically.
Since your data never leaves your device (except during optional cloud sync with your configured WebDAV server), it is protected by the built-in security features of macOS, including App Sandbox and FileVault (if enabled on your system).
ClipNova does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. As the app functions offline and locally, no such collection occurs.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the release notes of the application updates. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of an updated Privacy Policy serves as your acceptance of the updated terms.
